Gaddafi ‘not welcome’ at his mum’s house

Gaddafi Manhunt Latest: The mother of ousted Libyan leader Muammer Gaddafi has said her son is ‘no longer welcome’ in her house.

Mavis Gaddafi, 93, says she is concerned about how this all might reflect on her reputation at her local bingo hall.

“He used to be such a good boy,” says Mrs Gaddafi, whose Victoria Sponge won first prize at the Tripoli W.I. cake competition last month. “But with all his crimes against humanity, I wash my hands of him – the little sod.”

Mrs Gaddafi also expressed concerns that if her son is arrested in her home there could be some serious damage to her valuable collection of Royal Doulton figurines.

“I know they say blood is thicker than water, but I’ve been collecting those hand-painted, bone china figurines since 1952. There’s no way I’m going to risk them getting chipped by a mob of angry rebels barging through my front room with their size twelves.”
