Estate agent strike welcomed by everyone
Strike Latest: Proposed strike action by the Estate Agent’s union has been met with encouragement by pretty much everyone.
The strike, called by the Property Realtor International Committee (PRIC), has received widespread support from all corners of society.
“I could quite happily go all day without seeing one of those Foxton’s branded git-mobiles driving round,” said council worker Chris Tremors, echoing a sentiment shared by many.
“It’ll have a massive effect on society,” said teacher Karen Latrine. “It means most of us will be able to walk past an estate agent’s office without having that fantasy where we repeatedly slam their scumbag heads in the fridge full of mineral water.”
PRIC spokesman Adrian Starch-Anemone justified the strike action. “For many years our members have earned a healthy commission from spoodfeeding aspirational bullshit to homebuyers.”
“But thanks to the Governments irresponsible economic strategy this has been put in danger. It is only a matter of time before our members will be unable to afford the cologne they drench themselves in while trying to convince newlyweds that a dingy one bedroom flat in London is worth getting into half a million pounds of debt for.”
