Charlotte Church insists Murdoch ‘sings apology’

Media News: The singer Charlotte Church has agreed to let Rupert Murdoch sing her a special apology song he’s written, as part of her settlement with News International over phone-hacking.

In a statement outside the Royal Courts of Justice, the singer said an apology ‘could never mend’ the damage that was done to her and her family, but she was looking forward to seeing Rupert Murdoch dressed up as a naughty schoolboy.

“I hope he sings his little heart out,” said the 26-year-old. “I’m also looking forward to yelling ‘sing it louder, bitch’ if he starts to flag or I doubt his sincerity.”

“Dad is going to videotape the whole thing so the entire Church family can enjoy the performance for generations to come.”

It’s also thought that James Murdoch will accompany his father’s song by doing a little dance – providing he can remember the exact steps.
