Isolated cottage is ‘perfect’, says escaped murderer
Property News: An isolated cottage in the Brecon Beacons area of Wales has been described as ‘the perfect place to continue my work’ by an escaped murderer.
Donald Cream, 36, who recently escaped from HM Prison Swansea where he was serving a life sentence for the brutal abduction and murder of five people, is looking forward to moving into the cottage and ‘getting back to business’ as soon as possible.
Local estate agents feared they would never let the property as it has no electricity or a phone line. “That was ideal for me as I prefer to conduct my work by candlelight,” said Cream. “The flickering light playing across the terrified faces of my victims really adds to the atmosphere.”
“And having a phone would just be asking for trouble. What if one of them escaped and called the police? I might as well have a massive neon sign outside pointing to my cellar of death.”
