Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 To Feature Negotiations, Peace Summits

Peace News: Released at midnight tonight, the next installment of the record-breaking Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 2, features extensive scenes of negotiations and immersive peace summits.

Games publisher Activision is responding to criticism that previous games have been too violent – and say that Black Ops 2 features no combat and instead will focus on ‘heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping diplomatic missions’ that involve the main character trying to get foreign delegates to sign a peace treaty before everyone can break for lunch.

“The only fighting this game features is the struggle to be first in line at the buffet,” said an Activision spokesman.

Other missions will see players organising seating plans for the delegates attending the peace summit, as well as making sure there is a constant supply of chilled mineral water and other refreshments.

Black Ops 2 also features a multiplayer mode, in which gamers around the world are encouraged to work together to translate the various diplomats demands, helping achieve a long-lasting, peaceful, resolution as quickly as possible.
