‘Hostage Chamber’ Really More Of A Hostage Pit, Claims Hostage
Architecture News: A hostage has rejected the claims of his kidnapper, and says that the ‘hostage chamber’ he is being held in is actually more of a pit.
“When you tell me it’s a hostage chamber it paints a certain picture – stone floors and walls, with perhaps some kind of age and character to it,” said Charley Ross, 24, who was kidnapped while hitchhiking on the A27 in Wiltshire last month.
“But this is a pit – the walls are bare earth and the floor is just plain concrete. There’s no sense of craftsmanship about any of it. You can’t just go around threatening to put people in a hostage chamber and then chuck them in a pit – it’s deeply misleading.”
Ross says if he ever escapes the hostage pit alive, he plans to write numerous negative reviews on social media sites and may even contact his local Trading Standards office.
