Heinz Introduce New Range Of Soups Based On Internet Comments
Food News: Heinz is to launch an innovative new range of soups based on internet comments, aimed at ‘the social media generation’.
New varieties of soup will include the YouTube inspired ‘First!’ and ‘lame and gay lol’ as well as two Facebook flavours – “Certain people really piss me off :(“ and “relentless amount of identical baby photos”.
The range also has the Twitter inspired ‘unfollowed’ and ‘rape threat’ varieties, and Heinz say that all the new flavours will have a distinct bitter taste that lacks any depth.
“We hope our new range of internet comment themed soup will prove a hashtag hit with our younger consumers!” said Märkus Halb, senior brand manager at Heinz.
“We’re constantly looking for ways to innovate and hashtag inspire consumers and hope that the new soups will be the perfect way to make angry ranting on the internet even more hashtag delicious!”
