Wrinkly, Pale Fish Spotted At Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium

NEWQUAY, CORNWALL, UK: You see some odd things at aquariums – from sea cucumbers to manta rays and hammerhead sharks.

But as the Mirror reports, this weekend saw an altogether different brand of animal spectacle at Newquay’s Blue Reef aquarium…

Human nudists.

A group of ten men and women, wearing nothing more than backpacks and flip flops, took a tour around the facility as part of Nudefest, a local celebration of baring your all.

“They watched the sharks, stingrays and turtles,” says the Mirror. “And also took part in scuba diving and fishing during a week-long stay at the Newperran Holiday Park in Cornwall.”

As well as a gallery of well-chosen photographs, the paper talks to Andrew Welch, of British Naturism, who said that “guests were very excited by the prospect of a nude trip to one of Cornwall’s most popular tourist destinations.”

There is no word yet on what the Manta Rays thought of the spectacle.
