Sky News Reporter Wears All Of MH17 Victim’s Clothes Live On Air

Media News: Sky News have apologised profusely after a reporter wore all of a MH17 victim’s clothes live on air, in an attempt to ‘add humanity’ to the story.

“Sky News deeply regrets our correspondent simultaneously wearing all the clothes found in a MH17 passenger’s suitcase live on air,” read a statement issued by the news channel.

“At the time it was thought this would add some humanity and a personal element to the tragedy, but we now realise that wearing six t-shirts, three jumpers and a selection of ties all at once added absolutely nothing to the story and may have caused offence to the family and friends of the 298 people who died. As well as to most people watching Sky News at the time.”

It’s not the first such incident for the channel – last year they were forced to apologise after a presenter covering a serious accident on the M3 cooked sausages over the burning wreckage of a car during a report.
