Beats ‘Party Drone’ To Dispense Good Times In The Middle East
Tech News: Headphone and speaker company Beats Electronics has teamed up with the US military to build a drone to ‘drop awesome tunes and chill times’ on the Middle East.
The modified Reaper drone will fly unmanned missions over Iraq and Syria, deploying what the Pentagon and Beats refer to as ‘a party delivery system of previously unimagined awesomeness’ to the civilian population.
Each drone will be flown remotely by a celebrity DJ from a special facility in California and will be equipped with specially adapted ‘Pill’ speakers by Beats, which are able to deliver the tunes to specially chosen targets that lack the necessary party atmosphere.
“The world may frown at the US and its allies getting involved in yet another war,” said a spokesman for the Pentagon.
“But who who could frown on a payload of great tunes and chill vibes? It’s literally ‘the drop’ everyone has been waiting for!”
