Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Champion Pantomime Horse?
On Sunday 14th December over 40 Panto horses (plus the odd cow and zebra) will take part in fantastically silly race through the streets of Greenwich in London – all in the name of raising money for Demelza Children’s Hospice.
2014 is going to be the biggest race to date – we’re hoping to sign-up over 40 horses to compete in the race, which is proudly sponsored by The Poke.
And we want YOU to take part and help us raise some dosh for a very decent cause.
Here’s some keen horses spotted out for quick canter earlier this week.
Hailed by Time Out as a ‘must-see event’, the annual London Pantomime Horse Race in December is one of the capital’s most unmissable and unique Christmas charity events.
Now in its 5th year, the event takes on a special Science Fiction theme that will see dozens of cosplayers including Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Queen Amidala, an R2D2 unit and a battalion of Stormtroopers form a spectacular procession at the legendary Pre-race Ceremony.
And once the horses have passed the winning post, there’s a lively post-race Christmas party to enjoy.
If you’re interested in taking part DON’T DELAY as places will fill quickly.
