Man gets free 2-metre long snake inside his box of cornflakes

It used to be novelty plastic toys, but now an Australian man has found a two metre long python coiled up inside his box of cornflakes, reports the Evening Standard.

The Australian Telegraph reports that Jarred Smith, 22 from Sydney, got the fright of his life when he was preparing lunch and found the large diamond python coiled up in a cereal box right next to him.

The python was later returned to nearby bush by the NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service.
