Australian police charge Nickelback with crimes against music
Queensland police have urged the public to be on the lookout for Nickelback, who they believe to be impersonating musicians in the Boondall area, reports CNet.
The wanted poster appeared on their Facebook page and warned the public to “Avoid the area. It may be hazardous to your hearing and street cred.”
Thanks to Queensland police’s effort, nearly 38,000 people have been alerted to this deadly threat. Sadly The Guardian don’t appreciate the effort:
“A reckless squandering of police time and resources aside, Nickelback are forever coming in for treatment like this. And I say it’s time for the madness to stop.”
To be fair to the Queensland police, they probably haven’t got round to dealing with Coldplay yet.
