Noel Edmond’s face has appeared on a lamp
A possible sign of the coming apocalypse has been spotted in Cambridgeshire, after a man has seen the face of Noel Edmonds in a old lamp.
Chris Dodson says he bought the Himalayan salt lamp at a holistic fair in Colchester, but only recently noticed the similarity to the Deal Or No Deal host.
The 59-year-old told the Cambridge News: “It is really weird. I have had this lamp for more than 10 years and never noticed it before but I walked into the room and got a fright when I saw this old man staring back at me like he was watching me.”
“It was horrible. It looks a bit like the face of Santa Claus or if you are religious, which I am not, the face of Jesus. The face also does look a bit like Noel Edmonds in his younger days.”
Of course Edmonds isn’t the first famous face to appear in an inanimate object. Oh no. Who can forget the time someone saw Susan Boyle in a Yorkshire pudding?
Or when the golfer Rory McIlroy appeared in a pastry.
And the image of Margaret Thatcher showed up on the inside of a beer bottle cap.
