Southeastern trains blame ‘strong sunshine’ for problems
Forget broken trains or the wrong kind of snow or leaves on the track, Southeastern have now warned of delays due to “strong sunlight”, reports the News Shopper.
Southeastern, which has has repeatedly come under fire for its poor service, took to Twitter to warn commuters of delays through Lewisham because drivers were struggling to see the dispatching screens due to the “strong sunlight”.
Naturally Twitter users reacted with the sympathy and understanding you’d expect a train company to get on the internet.

@Se_Railway @tattwood this is a wind up surely!? I don't mean a wind up train of course as that would be immeasurably quicker
