This new Revenant themed pop-up restaurant lets you eat raw liver while being mauled by a bear

A new pop-up restaurant has opened in East London that serves diners raw bison liver while being mauled by a bear, then left for dead in a shallow grave.

“The modern dining experience is far too bland, sterile and boring,” said the restaurant’s owner and chef Tarquin Tristram-Bullshit. “With our modest pop up based on the hit Leonardo DiCaprio film we hope to introduce a visceral element of danger and excitement to the dinner table.”

While customers face a rather limited menu choice – raw bison liver served with a carafe of brackish water – Tristram-Bullshit promises that the restaurant boasts ‘the authentic feel of 19th century Montana’ and is about the ‘theatre of the meal’ rather than just the food.

After enjoying an entree of brutal bear attack, the second course involves waiters trying to smother customers to death, before tipping them into a shallow grave and abandoning them. Diners then have to walk over 200 miles to enjoy the third and final course of raw bison liver, which is served off the floor.

“It’s an experience that will appeal to people jaded with the clean white tablecloths and immaculately presented plates of food associated with fine dining,” says Tristram-Bullshit. “It’s something they will remember for the rest of their short lives.”
