Christians are ANGRY that Cadbury are leaving are the word ‘Easter’ off their eggs.
Christian folk have noticed that Cadbury seem to be leaving the word ‘Easter’ off the front of their Easter Eggs packaging. And they are ANGRY!
The chocolate giant is accused of removing the word Easter to stop it offending non-Christians.
A Cadbury spokesperson told the Independent.“Most of our Easter eggs don’t say Easter or egg on the front as we don’t feel the need to tell people this — it is very obvious through the packaging that it is an Easter egg,”
As you are tucking into your Creme egg today spare a thought for the person that runs Cadbury’s social media feeds..

Twitter folks are having mixed feelings about all this hoo ha.
Personally, I don’t care what Cadbury’s have written on their easter eggs. It would be nice if they paid tax though.

Cadbury’s omission of the word Easter “disgraceful”, say people who spend the whole weekend stuffing their faces and never going to church. — Jason (@NickMotown) March 27, 2016
