This “types of homosexuals” list from a 1958 Government report makes for some extraordinary reading

Ivan Kirby has shared an extraordinary find on Twitter, from a sociological report prepared for the Home Office in 1958, and is, according the author Richard Hauser, a list of “Types of Homosexual”.

We’re still trying to work out what’s the difference between a true and a false transvestist.

It’s extraordinary how far we’ve come.
