Traffic and people get smothered by a huge runaway “moon balloon” in China
The approach of Typhoon Meranti in east China has led to a giant inflatable moon breaking free and going on a squashy rampage.

It’s reminiscent of the scenes from last October, when a giant inflatable pumpkin also broke free of its earthly shackles and made a bid for freedom.
And don’t forget the huge blowup Minion that terrorised motorists in Dublin last year.
