The sarcasm’s off the scale in this hilarious email exchange about security cameras

Over on Reddit, Omarchakir has shared a screenshot of a brief email exchange that occurred after his brother’s bike was stolen. He wanted to have a look at footage from the video cameras outside his building but those responsible for them were less than helpful.

The exchange went like this:

“The cameras are dummy cameras and not real, they are incapable of recording and are only there as a deterrent.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for clarifying what a dummy camera is.

Please let me know if the lock on the door to the building is also a dummy and only there as a deterrent. At which point I might as well place a blow up doll in the entrance and we can call it a security guard.
