UK Dads breathe a sigh of relief as ‘thermostat fighting season’ draws to a close
“When the clocks go forward I start to feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders,” said one Dad from Maidenhead in Berkshire.
“It signals that the seemingly endless days of fighting with my entire family about the correct setting for the thermostat are drawing to a close, and I can get get back to my regular Dad activities – like moaning at my family to make sure they turn the lights off when they leave a room, or always using a lid when cooking things in a saucepan.”
Another Dad had clearly found the non-stop thermostat wrestling during winter to be particularly tough this year.
“This one was the hardest I can remember, I’m happy it’s almost over. It feels like such a long time since I had a go my son for leaving the fridge door open while he was making a sandwich.”
