Former Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie is now a former Sun columnist after it was reported he’d be leaving the paper after his controversial comments about Everton footballer Ross Barkley.
MacKenzie was suspended after comparing the player – who has a Nigerian grandfather – to a gorilla. Now he’s been given the (football) boot as well.
