This fridge dumped in Manchester has its own Twitter account
A fridge that had been unceremoniously dumped on the A6 in Levenshulme, Manchester, has become such a local hot topic that it has its own Twitter account.
The account started a few days ago…
DUMPED again – this time on Stockport Road, Levenshulme. Pretty busy spot but I'm quite chilled. Hopefully council won't bother me here!

DAY 3: I'm still here – I'm really starting to feel like part of the furniture now… pic.twitter.com/oCyZPqSF5S

There was a moment of hope when the council got in touch…
Hi Fridge! Sit tight, I've contacted the environmental team and someone will come and rescue you.

The fridge got involved with local community events while waiting to be picked up.
Seeing as though @ManCityCouncil won't move me for 5 working days – I'm now the best advertising spot in Levenshulme for @levepride #day3 pic.twitter.com/G3SscQpQLh

Before finally moving on to pastures new.

Let’s just hope this fame doesn’t go to the fridge’s head/icebox.
It feels like on yesterday that I was enjoying celebrity status – locals have asked me to keep an eye on Levenshulme. Tweet me any rubbish! pic.twitter.com/cuMMvMpLdw
