Serial prankster Simon Brodkin walked right up to Theresa May and handed her a P45.
Entirely unchallenged, he then had a few words with Boris Johnson in the front row before he was eventually ushered out by the most polite security we have ever seen.
That’s the way to breach Conservative party security – dress up like Jacob Rees-Mogg.
Here’s Brodkin – you might know him better as Lee Nelson – talking about it afterwards.

He said Boris Johnson asked him to do it.
Hi @BorisJohnson, I gave Theresa her P45 just like you asked. pic.twitter.com/gzW0UluDMv

Watch him get escorted out of the conference hall very, very slowly.

The annoying thing about Simon Brodkin is that the amazing setup, research, access and invasion always culminates in a really shit joke.

Well, maybe. Lucky he only had a P45.
