Wetherspoon’s launch a Brexit manifesto on a beer mat
The pro-Brexit pub chain has launched a three point “manifesto” on beer mats, and people aren’t happy about it.

It’s not the first time Wetherspoon has mixed booze and politics, during the EU referendum campaign they printed hundreds of thousands of pro-Brexit beer mats.
Because I love propaganda with a pint and indifferently microwaved food. Drop the politicking, it just annoys people.

Worked in a Wetherspoons for a while and can assure you we weren't indifferent about fucking up your food. We were compassionate about it.

Dear government, please allow me to continue hiring cheap labour

When I was old enough to legally go to the pub my Dad told me to avoid talking religion and politics. It was sound advice. It still is.

Just makes me wonderhow means extra staff hours could have been used instead of printing this shit

This is so ridiculous that I thought it was a parody account at first. 😂😂😂

Wetherspoon’s chairman, Tim Martin, also came under fire.
You're a pub. Just a pub. Not a political party. Now bore off Tim. You're tiring me.

Tim would love a bit of deregulated chlorinated chicken served by cheap labour!!

Not to worry, we’ve refined the beer mat to something most of us can wholeheartedly get behind.
