Flute player is unflappable when a butterfly lands on her face
Flautist Youkie Ota shows herself to be unflappable (sorry not sorry) when a butterfly lands on her face during the second sonata of Pierre Sancan’s Sonatine for flute and piano.
“He just came and landed on my head. I didn’t see it coming. All of a sudden it landed, ‘What is happening?'” said Ota in an interview about the incident.
It reminded us of this wonderful moment from earlier this year, when a dog unexpectedly joined an orchestra on stage in Turkey during a performance of Mendelssohn’s Fourth Symphony.
