Samuel L Jackson got into character to take down Donald Trump’s ‘guns for teachers’ plan
It’s fair to say that Donald Trump’s plan to solve the gun problem in America’s schools by putting more guns into America’s schools hasn’t gone down entirely well.
There was this person for instance.
As a teacher, I knocked myself out headbutting ceiling pretending to be a particle, star-jumping off a desk.
I've set my arm on fire when lit ethanol trickled down sleeve, from my hand.
I've burnt my ear listening if gas was coming out of a bunsen.
Please don't give me a gun.

And this person.
If a gunman can walk into a military base like Fort Hood with 100% of the populace 'highly trained" in firearms use, and still murder 13 people with a pistol, do you honestly think that 20% of teachers having a gun is going to stop the next killer who may have an AR-15?

And now here’s what Samuel L Jackson had to say.
Can someone that’s been in a Gunfight tell that Muthafukka that’s Never been in a Gunfight, the flaws of his Arm The Teachers plan??!!

It seemed to strike a chord, shared 100,000 times and liked 300,000 times more, prompting a lively debate online.
I've been in many gun fights. If there was a gunman at my kids school I would pray that someone like me was standing between that gunman and my kids.

but if neither of you had guns……voila

The dream of nobody owning guns is unrealistic. There's more guns than people in the US. Instead of putting your faith in to an unattainable goal why don't you focus on something more tangeable. Like protecting the innocent from the wicked….
