Jacob Rees-Mogg gave up being anti-immigration for a day and his followers’ response was gold
Jacob Rees-Mogg put aside his anti-immigration views – for one day only! – when he shared an editorial written by his father on the 50th anniversary of Enoch Powell’s infamous ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech.

His father, William Rees-Mogg, wrote in the Times that the speech was ‘shameful … disgraceful … [and] calculated to inflame hatred between the races’.
Such views came as a bit of a shock to the Tory MP’s followers on Twitter. Here’s just a flavour, as highlighted by @jimmfelton on Twitter.
Jacob Rees-Mogg pretends to not be an anti-immigration shitbag for one tweet only.
It doesn’t seem to have gone down well with his dogshit followers. pic.twitter.com/YZYNq8FEd3

Rees-Mogg not racist enough for his followers. I’m sure he’ll put that right very soon.
