Twitter has a NSFW hashtag for St George’s Day and it’s glorious
You may have noticed that St. George’s Day can be a bit controversial in some quarters, between those disappointed that the patron saint of England doesn’t warrant a bank holiday and others convinced that councils have banned the flag of St. George in case it offends “foreigners” or “lefties”.
@DrJamesMasonry has helpfully gathered some bafflingly extreme comments under the hashtag #StGeorgesDayBellends.
To get you started, there’s a bingo card:
Now, eyes down. Dabbers at the ready …

But, for anyone worrying about whether they’ll be seen as racist for celebrating St. George’s Day, there is also this excellent advice …
People will call you a racist if you say racist things. Stay away from that, and you're all good.#StGeorgesDayBellends https://t.co/xWfwUSUMEP
