These 3D portraits of Vladimir Putin are effective and very, very creepy
Russian President, Vladimir Putin, never passes up an opportunity to pose for a portrait. Often topless or on horseback, or topless on horseback.
So it’s no great surprise to learn that he wants to make sure that all Russian citizens get to enjoy his image, even if they can’t see. But for those who can see, the transparent 3D overlay for his portraits looks incredibly creepy.
This is what they look like.
And this is how they’re used.
Or, if you’re a big fan …
We’re not sure whether there’s a topless on horseback version, but we’re absolutely certain we don’t want a feel of it if there is.
Do they have one of his shirtless torso?

Well that’s not creepy at all.
Definitely not personally cult-ish.
Not at all.— Kevin Daly (@KevDaly) April 26, 2018
Send one to Trump.
