The government is turning a blind eye to the death penalty and it’s a WTF moment – the only 16 comments you need to read

The Home Office has opted not to ask for reassurances that the death penalty won’t be applied against two former British citizens likely to stand trial for terrorism in the US. This break from previous practice has had a very strong reaction from other politicians, the media and the public.

A former British Army Commander, Colonel Richard Kemp has gone so far as to say that the return of the death penalty could be a benefit of Brexit.
