Nigel Farage complained about a parliamentary vote and got totally owned – our 11 favourites
Scarcely a day goes by without Nigel Farage chipping in on how MPs are doing Brexit wrong, without ever once having produced a plan for doing it right. His latest bout of foot-stamping came after a bill tabled by Yvette Cooper passed through the House of Commons by one vote at 313 to 312, taking a step towards forcing Theresa May to ask for another Article 50 extension, to avoid a no-deal Brexit.
How can a single vote in parliament supersede the 1.3m vote majority for Brexit?
It is now clear we will have to fight our political classes again.
I’m up for it. https://t.co/ifq3DjOyRU

Naturally, Twitter was ready to answer his question – and more.

In light of the Cooper / Letwin bill passing by one vote, let's all take a moment to laugh at seven time parliamentary failure Nigel Farage as the sovereignty of parliament he claimed to fight for once against bites him on the arse.
Guess he didn't know what he voted for. https://t.co/ARqWndlX9n

You could have had a say too but no-one was stupid enough to elect you.

Having never been elected to the British parliament, I guess we shouldn’t take for granted that you’d understand how it works. Yet when you argued for Britain to “take back control” & for sovereignty of parliament, this is it. In full glorious working order. So congratulations.

So you don't understand the concept of scale? That 67 million people are represented by 650 MPs .

If you'd ever been successful in your attempts to become a member of parliament you'd know.

People’s Vote campaigner, Femi Oluwole, used Farage’s own words to explain why his point made no sense.
That logic only works if all 17 million people voted for No Deal. They did not. You promised them the exact opposite. pic.twitter.com/J1VJJrjXMp

I’m not sure he’ll get over it.
