Scarcely a day goes by without Nigel Farage chipping in on how MPs are doing Brexit wrong, without ever once having produced a plan for doing it right. His latest bout of foot-stamping came after a bill tabled by Yvette Cooper passed through the House of Commons by one vote at 313 to 312, taking a step towards forcing Theresa May to ask for another Article 50 extension, to avoid a no-deal Brexit.

Naturally, Twitter was ready to answer his question – and more.

People’s Vote campaigner, Femi Oluwole, used Farage’s own words to explain why his point made no sense.
