Simply 23 black hole jokes
It probably hasn’t escaped your attention that astronomers have captured the first ever image of a black hole.
It took more than 200 scientists using eight radio telescopes positioned across the globe, from Antarctica to Spain to Chile, to capture it. And this is what it looks like.
Scientists have obtained the first image of a black hole, using Event Horizon Telescope observations of the center of the galaxy M87. Lots of people were very excited about it, including the great Professor Brian Cox.
