What genius asked a Brit to bring food to the Independence Day picnic?

You probably noticed that the USA has just celebrated its independence from Britain, which it did with a military parade and a new version of history, courtesy of Donald Trump. One British person in the US was invited to their workplace’s celebration, complete with something to share. This is how that played out.
