Michael Spicer’s ‘room next door’ take on Boris Johnson’s interview is sublime
We’re fast becoming addicted to Michael Spicer‘s ‘room next door’ clips, which give an imagined insight into what’s going on behind the scenes of the absolute worst interviews of public figures.
Having already given us the only reasonable explanation for Boris Johnson’s hobby of painting buses onto wine crates – because that’s a thing – he has now shone a spotlight on the backroom machinations behind Johnson’s catastrophic Andrew Neil interview.

That’s exactly the right combination of desperation and exasperation that we suspect any and all of Boris Johnson’s aides must feel, at least one a day. Yet again, Michael’s video has become a hit, with great reactions like this:
Are these the best thing on here at the moment? I mean, it’s generally a sewer for all things unholy and mind numbing, but on reflection I’m happy to say yes they are. Outstanding

"You stupid Sausage Roll!" should be the campaign slogan for the opposition.
Just a picture of Boris' stupid face with that written next to it. https://t.co/BwJoDXs1if— Neil Larrisey (@NeilLarrisey) July 15, 2019
We were most impressed that an actual participant liked the sketch …not him, the other one.
This is funny. Very funny. Laugh out loud funny. https://t.co/0ZibyB3fyu

There was one complaint, unfortunately.
These are the best things on Twitter, the only problem is they're too short 👏👏👏 https://t.co/hLL4J7wBra
