The only four reactions you need to Nigel Farage’s massive EU voting self-own
In a secret ballot, the European Parliament accepted German minister, Ursula von der Leyen, as Jean-Claude Juncker’s replacement when he ceases to be the European commission’s president. Her narrow win will make her the first woman to hold the office, but despite the secrecy of the ballot, one dissenting voice was incredibly public.
In an election, having a choice of one is hardly open and democratic. This was a total stitch-up from the very beginning. pic.twitter.com/XDuxsSNslX

As the head of a party, which held no leadership ballot and is actually a limited company with financial supporters rather than members, it was hypocrisy on an industrial scale, and he was soon called out for it.

It wasn’t his only tweet about the incoming president; he went full Trump.
Ursula von der Leyen has scraped in by 9 votes. Power but no legitimacy.
