This dad adds special effects to home videos to make his kids into action heroes
Daniel Hashimoto, or Hashi for short, films his young children, James and Sophia, as is the way of the devoted parent, but unlike most parents, Hashi doesn’t stop there – he adds special effects to make each clip into a mini adventure.
Here’s James wrecking the bowling alley …
And here’s Sophia having a “skating” accident.
This montage of previous clips shows just how terrifying little kids can be …and yes, it includes special effects.
Someone shared some of Hashi’s work on Twitter and it really caught people’s attention.
A graphics designer filmed his son and then added various special effects. Simply amazing!

Even Larry the Cable Guy stopped by to give it the thumbs up.

As fantastic as life must be for kids who get to see themselves at the centre of the action, it can slightly backfire.
Parenting is hard. Sometimes one thing leads to another and now your daughter’s specifically afraid that real Gremlin Puppeteers will break into our house with the REAL puppets. At night. pic.twitter.com/OP1SZV715h
