Sussex Radio’s 18 seconds of accidental Partridge raises more questions than it answers

Try as they might, broadcasters can’t help but channel comedy legend Alan Partridge from time to time, as anyone who’s ever watched more than ten minutes of Richard Madeley will confirm. Someone named Con on Twitter has shared a perfect example from the Sussex Breakfast radio show, and it’s …well, listen for yourself.

That’s an Accidental Partridge, if ever there was one, and it drew the plaudits it deserves.

Along with the laughs, the clip raised an important question.

Happily, Eric A Blair was on hand to put us all out of our misery.

Unfortunately, the BBC seems to have tracked down and blocked all the footage, presumably because they’re massive spoilsports. We bet Nick Ross would have let us see him sit on a lesbian.
