This time lapse of someone building a Lego Millenium Falcon takes some darkly hilarious turns
We’ve all seen those time lapse videos of people doing something impressive – painting the Mona Lisa onto a hairless cat, creating a miniature version of Weston-Super-Mare out of used cotton buds, getting Boris Johnson to say something truthful – that kind of stuff. They’re good, but they all lack what this time lapse video of comedian Adrian Gray building a Lego Millennium Falcon has in spades: the element of surprise.
Check out this unbelievable time lapse of me building a Lego Millennium Falcon! pic.twitter.com/tYyaUHrER4

The sketch has only been up on Twitter for less than a day, at the time of writing, and it’s already been viewed more than 125,000 times. It’s fair to say that the unfolding drama isn’t what people expect.
That… Didn’t turn out as I expected. 😆 https://t.co/IcPivfk4Zy

I skipped 30 seconds into this and did not nearly expect that

Skipped half the video. Was not expecting that. https://t.co/QzNf5i6jRl

But, mostly, it’s simply been attracting praise like this:

Game developer, David Gaider, is obviously very familiar with the trials and tribulations of Lego construction, because we completely agree with this.
He really managed to capture the *feeling* of working with Lego. https://t.co/DHdrBVSzMC
