We didn’t know the Harpy Eagle is the world’s largest eagle. But that’s not why we’re here.

We’re here because it turns out the Harpy Eagle looks like a person wearing a costume and frankly we can’t stop looking at it.

These pictures went viral after they were shared by crg339 on Reddit and, well, have a look for yourself.

It’s the bottom right one that really does it for us.

Redditor SlaversBae spoke for the entire internet when he said: ‘It looks like a person wearing a costume.’

‘It is,’ added ThatsBushLeague. ‘You can try to tell us it’s not, but we know the real truth.’

And this, from NotSpiderman: ‘Imagine running into one of those fuckers at night with just a torch or something for light. No wonder demon lore exists lol.’

And if you’re a fan of the stats, the Harpy eagle’s wingspan can reach to more than 7ft and they grow to 3ft 6in tall.
