A 9-year-old has written the first manifesto of the general election campaign – and it’s a vote winner
Although there are technically no UK MPs at the moment, the man who sat and is standing for the constituency of Stalybridge and Hyde, Jonathan Reynolds, has shared something very special via Twitter – the five-point manifesto written by his nine-year-old daughter, Bess.

She’s a very clued-up young lady, although she may have had a little help with her homework. Her pockets suggestion was a massive vote winner.

Her bold views got a certain admiration, as well.
Her great-great grandfather Fred would have approved the strong opinions!

It looks like that’s going to be discussed at committee level.
I’m going to talk to her about why that wouldn’t work out well

Of course, not everybody was buying it.
With all the lies and fake news in politics these days, I had a feeling that this election campaign would be a rich source of @_dhotya contenders.
