The hashtag #fartgate trended for hours after a Democratic congressman, Eric Swalwell, appeared to cut a MASSIVE fart during a live interview on TV. Here is exhibit A.

When asked by Buzzfeed reporter, Addy Baird, the congressman denied both farting and even having heard the noise during the broadcast.

People were unconvinced – and they had evidence.
