This emoji doesn’t mean what this school’s health clinic thinks it means

Well, that’s unfortunate. Sure, this emoji looks a bit like someone coughing. But surely it looks more – a lot more – like something else?

‘My sister’s school health clinic may need some emoji-education,’ wrote TwirlyGuacamole over on Reddit.
And this is why.

You’d need the mask just to make sure no-one could see you laughing.

And people more in the know than us said it wasn’t an actual emoji, it was some ancient Clip art, just in case you were wondering.
