Child actress Julia Butters was asked what’s in her bag and it’s Greg James’ favourite Oscars moment
There was lots to love about this year’s Oscars – Parasite making history by taking the best picture prize, Olivia Colman’s very funny presenter speech, Brad Pitt sticking it to Donald Trump – but this bit might be the best.
It was certainly Greg James’ favourite bit – the Radio 1 breakfast DJ said so on Twitter – and it really is a rather lovely exchange.
It’s child star Julia Butters – she was in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood – being asked what she’s got in her bag.
Best bit of the Oscars by a mile. Booking Julia Butters for the breakfast show ASAP pic.twitter.com/UYBCjF0Lrw

And we loved it because it’s exactly the sort of thing we’d do. Not necessarily turkey. But definitely a sandwich. And a packet of Monster Munch.
Got to love the squish it back in the bag technique!
