Peter Crouch turned this snarky comment into a match-winning own goal

One more reason to love Peter Crouch is this exchange on Twitter which began with a chap called Darren taking the time to tell the great man how much he loved his podcast.

Not everyone was impressed, however. Not with Crouch’s podcast, but with the idea that the footballer turned author and broadcaster might take the time to respond.

So when this happened there was no doubt who was our man of the match. And it wasn’t Bryony.

Boom!
