A salutary lesson never to assume it’s an automated message

Thank goodness for automated reminders of up-coming appointments which are a whole lot more reliable than, say, actually remembering something for yourself.

But not all of those reminders are of the automated variety – just most of them – and this is a salutary message not to play fast and loose with them.

It’s not an entirely new exchange but it’s just gone viral again after it was shared by Redditor SkrooImperator who said: ‘I….don’t know what I’d do if this happened with me.’
