Dominic Cummings would testify that the PM knew in advance about *that* drinks party
If Boris Johnson’s baby hasn’t been keeping him awake already, Dominic Cummings’ latest blog definitely will. The former Downing Street SpAd posted an exerpt from it on Twitter.
Updated blog: PM was told about the invite, he knew it was a drinks party, he lied to Parliament https://t.co/J3jslbQV9A pic.twitter.com/UKCxKMM80k

This directly contradicts a statement from 10 Downing Street that the PM had no advance knowledge of the gathering.
Number 10 spokesman now issuing a blanket denial that Boris Johnson was warned about No 10 lockdown garden party in advance
'It is untrue that the PM was warned about event in advance. He believed implicitly that this was a work event'

Cat. Pigeons. Feathers all over the place. And it didn’t stop there.
A Downing Street source has backed up Dominic Cummings' claim that Boris Johnson was made aware in advance of a Downing Street drinks party during the first #COVID19 lockdown.@BethRigby reports.

People were obviously terribly, terribly shocked. Nah – just kidding. This is what they said.

who could imagine that Johnson, a man fired from at least two jobs for lying, could have lied? https://t.co/KGJSUYVuZ3

I take what Cummings says with a pinch of salt but this corroborates others AND explicitly says that Boris Johnson lied to Parliament – which, would you believe it, is not allowed! https://t.co/m3X1liEMMh

BREAKING: Dominic Cummings says he and others are prepared to swear under oath that Boris Johnson knowingly held illegal lockdown parties. Unfortunately, Cressida Dick has confirmed this does not count as evidence and the Met are unable to investigate.

We feel quite bad for Sue Gray who must learn of new revelations every time she comes close to finishing her all-important report.
If Sue Gray doesn't speak to Dominic Cummings her report isn't worth the paper it's written on https://t.co/5V2sQCcV2Z

Everything I've read/been told about her suggests that she would completely agree with this. https://t.co/O3Y1p0VzYz

Of course, Dominic Cummings and the as yet unnamed sources aren’t the only people who would be happy to swear that Boris Johnson is a liar.
So would I and I've never met them. https://t.co/epDr66fcLw
