The Welsh first minister threw epic shade at Boris Johnson for axing Covid restrictions and it’s A++
Over on BBC Breakfast, presenter Naga Munchetty asked Welsh first minister Mark Drakeford why Wales wasn’t following Boris Johnson’s lead and so enthusiastically dropping all plan B Covid restrictions, including mask-wearing.
You might remember that some people – quite a lot of people, in fact – have questioned the timing of Johnson’s decision to abandon the current rules, including compulsory self-isolation.
And Drakeford’s answer really wasn’t messing around.
Naga Munchetty – People in Wales will be wondering why the restrictions haven't been eased like in England?

The Welsh government is also relaxing restrictions, but much more slowly than the sweeping away of measures announced by Johnson.
And here’s exactly what people made of that.
'We do things in line with the science.. we are a govt that doesn't need to grab headlines to distract attention.. '
👏👏👏👏
Don't you just love him?

This person in England wonders why restrictions are being eased with 300+ daily deaths still occuring.

Couldn't agree more and nice to hear someone actually saying it, especially on the BBC. pic.twitter.com/YBw9mKrHAC

And here he was on Sky News …
'Anybody watching will know those announcements are not driven by science.'
Mark Drakeford says Boris Johnson is not making COVID announcements "driven by the science", but "to find a different headline".https://t.co/Qqn8mI1N3u
