19 stylish takedowns of the banker who criticised Volodymyr Zelensky for addressing Congress in a T-shirt

Since Russia invaded Ukraine again, President Volodymyr Zelensky has been the model of a good leader, staying to fight for his country despite the offer of evacuation to safety, addressing Ukrainians daily, as well as appealing to other leaders for help and support.

On Wednesday, he spoke via video link to the US Congress, reminding them of Pearl Harbor and 9/11, urging Joe Biden to implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

It didn’t fly with investment banker and media economics commentator, Peter Schiff, who made this insanely petty comment about the Ukrainian president’s appearance.

Is it disrespectful to misspell United States? It’s definitely not great adding ‘the’ before Ukraine.

His snark wasn’t well received on Twitter, where he received these – and thousands more – expertly crafted put-downs.
