A GB News presenter likened people who still wear masks to prisoners – only 5 responses you need
Boris Johnson may have swept away Covid restrictions but deaths from the pandemic haven’t stopped – far from it, in fact, with cases rising once again.
So a lot of people are continuing to wear a mask when they are out and about in certain situations to protect themselves and others.
But not having to wear a mask isn’t good enough for some people who don’t want to wear a mask, it would appear. They want other people to stop wearing a mask as well.
We only mention this after GB News presenter Isabel Oakeshott said this on Twitter.
Two years on from the start of the pandemic, there are still an awful lot of people in Britain wearing masks. Outside. You can open the prison door, but some people will always prefer captivity.

And these are surely the only 5 responses you need.
1.
What is it with the 'freedom' people always wanting to police others and what they wear. https://t.co/YThG7dk0je

2.
Captivity here meaning wearing a bit of cloth on your face around the big Tesco https://t.co/3u5NYdF8wE

4.
What's your beef? Some people are wearing hats too. And socks, even. Sometimes I carry an umbrella. Freedom of choice, ain't it?

To conclude …
1. Maybe these people have symptoms. There are still an awful lot of daily new infections, in fact they are increasing again.
2. Maybe they are people that are at higher risk of covid due to health issues etc.
3. Who cares what other people do out of free will?— Phil Jones' limited and specific body double (@Philsbodydouble) March 23, 2022
And this.
Why is this a problem for you?

Oh, and this!
Isabel Oakeshott: I support freedom of speech.
People: I want to wear a mask because Covid numbers are high and rising.
Isabel Oakeshott: Not like that. pic.twitter.com/VG9fBt89jx— Oonagh (@Okeating) March 23, 2022
